Gardaí make latest arrest following fatal assault in cemetery

OVER a dozen arrests have been made in connection with a fatal assault at a cemetery, with the latest being another male. 

Gardaí have issued their latest update on the case, which saw them arrest and detain a man in his 60’s as part of the ongoing investigations.

The attack happened in Rathass Cemetery, Tralee, Kerry on October 5, 2022 and has seen people ranging from their late teens to 60’s be arrested for the incident. 

More than 12 arrests have been made thus far, with the incident resulting in one person deceased as a result of the assault. 

Gardaí have advised that investigations are ongoing and that anybody with any information in relation to said fatal incident can contact Tralee garda station at 066 710 2300.
