An Garda Síochána will be carrying out an enhanced roads policing enforcement campaign in Kilkenny over the Bank Holiday weekend until 7am on Wednesday, March 18.
The operation will target drug and alcohol use amongst drivers.
"Leave the car at home, make a plan, and get home safely," a garda spokesperson said.
"Don’t let one bad decision bring devastation to your family, friends, or community.
"Drive safe this Bank Holiday weekend," they added.
