WATCH: Trailer released for new Graham Norton show featuring Irish comedians

Prime Video has revealed the official trailer for the new Irish comedy series hosted by Graham Norton, LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland, ahead of the series global launch on January 19th, 2024.

The series will feature some of Ireland’s biggest and best comedic talent: Aisling Bea, Amy Huberman, Catherine Bohart, David McSavage, Deirdre O’Kane, Emma Doran, Jason Byrne, Martin Angolo, Paul Tylak, and Tony Cantwell.

Host Graham Norton will oversee the 10 comedic stars, brought together to make each other laugh by using every unpredictable comedic tool in the box … without cracking a smile themselves. The series will have the added bonus of some celebrity cameos.

Whoever can outlast their competitors will be crowned the first winner of LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland and win a grand prize of €50,000 for their charity of choice.

The trailer features some of the crazy antics that the comedians do to make the others laugh, with Graham Norton explaining the rules of the game.

New cameos were also revealed, with Zig, Zag and Ray D’Arcy who make up The Den; the long-running Irish children’s television show. RTÉ journalist, Anne Doyle and singing duo, Jedward will also try to make the comedians laugh.

The  LOL: Last One Laughing format has become the most watched title of all time on Prime Video in Italy, France, and Germany, and had hugely successful local versions in Mexico, Australia, India, Spain, Canada, The Netherlands, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, and Sweden. Other local celebrity hosts include Jay Baruchel (Canada), Eugenio Derbez (Mexico), Fedez (Italy), Michael "Bully" Herbig (Germany), and Rebel Wilson (Australia).
