Gardaí have confirmed the death of a man following a workplace incident on a farm in county Limerick.
The man, in his 60s, was pronounced deceased in Galbally, near the Limerick/Tipperary border, on Tuesday afternoon.
“His body was taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem will take place in due course,” a garda spokesperson confirmed.
According to the spokesperson, the Health and Safety Authority has been notified and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
