SuperValu is recalling a batch of a popular food product due to a major packaging error.
According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), SuperValu is removing a batch of Chicken & Ham Pie (275g) from stores as some packs may contain Steak & Onion Pie instead of the advertised food.
The Steak & Onion Pie product reportedly contains soya, which is not declared on the Chicken & Ham Pie label.
This may make it potentially unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of soya.
The Use By date on the affected products is 26.01.2024.
