Two cars have been caught travelling at extraordinary speeds on the same road just hours apart in Co Kerry.
According to An Garda Síochána, the cars were both speeding above the 100km/h limit, with one vehicle travelling at 125km/h and the other travelling at 155km/h.
Both drivers were stopped and both tested positive for cocaine.
A Garda spokesperson highlighted the separate incidents in a post published on X (formerly Twitter) yesterday afternoon (July 25).
Dozens of X users commented, with one X user describing drug-driving on Irish roads as "an epidemic".
Another commented, "It's getting worse. How can you keep the roads safe? Keep up the good work."
Another comment reads, "Same party? Glad you got them. Throw the book at them."
"Good work. Get these wasters off the road," reads another.
