Gardaí seize van parked illegally in disabled space without tax or insurance
Gardaí in Terenure, Dublin have seized a van that was found parking in a disabled spot without a permit.
The gardaí were on patrol as part of 'Make Way Day' on Friday 27 September when it detected the illegally parked van.
'Make Way Day' is an annual campaign to make way on streets for people with disabilities and to raise public awareness about the problems caused by obstacles blocking footpaths.
On closer inspection, gardaí discovered that the van had no insurance or tax for over a year.
The van was seized by gardaí.
