JOB ALERT: Garda HQ seeking Chief Information Officer and the salary starts at €168k!

An Garda Síochána are currently recruiting for the highly-coveted role of Chief Information Officer.

According to Gardaí, the ideal appointee will be an experienced executive leader with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.

As well as this, expertise in leading the development and delivery of digital and data strategies to meet the needs of a high-performing security service is needed. 

The appointee should be familiar with adopting new technology advancements, such as digital disruption, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cloud adoption and cybersecurity.

They also must understand the challenges and opportunities associated with legacy and traditional technologies as well as the critical requirements in maintaining business, resilience and continuity.

This role is based at An Garda Síochána's headquarters in Phoenix Park, Dublin 8 and the starting salary is an attractive €168,138 - with the post being offered at Assistant Secretary level.
