Kilkenny gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision in Urlingford at approximately 2am this morning (Wednesday).

The driver, a man aged in his 80s, was taken to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny as a precaution.
The road has since re-opened.
