Kathleen Hoynes was Glenmore's oldest citizen

Sympathy is expressed on the passing of Glenmore’s most senior citizen, Mrs Kathleen Hoynes of Ballybrahee (nee O’Connor) who was in her 101st year  at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Ferrybank, Waterford.

Sympathy is given at this time to her daughters, Carmel, Mary, Anna, Margaret, Brigid and to her sons Ger, Michael, John and Paddy and their families, nieces and nephews and to her neighbours and many friends.

Kathleen's funeral took place at St. James' Church, Glenmore,  at 11am on Wednesday, 15th August, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Philip and her daughter Rita. Kathleen passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 12. May her kind, gentle and friendly soul rest in peace.
