Brendan (Benny) O Brien
Kilkenny snooker player Benny O Brien represented the county with pride at this month's European Snooker Championships in Sarajevo.
The local potter made it as far as the Last 64 stage, a commendable feat considering that the competition brought together some of the best players from all across Europe.
A native of The Butts in Kilkenny City, Benny recently won the All-Ireland Snooker Club Championship (2022) with the Kilkenny snooker team ‘The Kilkenny Shed’.
