Tasty barbecue food, and fabulous cakes, were the order of the day at yesterday's (Sunday) Summer Garden Party in Callan’s Westcourt Walled Garden.

A fundraising event, proceeds will support works to preserve the historic walls around what was once the vegetable garden for Westcourt House, and to provide water and electricity to growers in the garden.
The Walled Garden is host to allotments, a community supported growing project and small business ventures. Some of their delicious organic veggies were served up on the day to accompany the barbecue.
Organisers were delighted with the turnout and thank all who supported the event.
