Pictures: Paulstown businesses link up for community Expo

More than 20 local businesses took part in the Paulstown Business Expo, last weekend, to showcase to the local community just what is available to them in the local area.

“Sometimes we can’t see the wood for the trees when it comes to services and products available close to home,” said Valerie Tobin who helped to organise the event. She is part of a local business network and invites any local company that would like to link up with the network to contact Paulstown Development Association.

An ISME survey revealed that for every €10 spent locally on Irish products, this generates more than €40 of benefit to the local community in terms of employment. Clients save their time and travel costs when shopping locally.
“And to top it all, isn’t it hard to beat the personal touch and friendly neighbourly banter and chat when you shop within your community?” Click NEXT to scroll through the photographs from the day.
