Last Wednesday evening marked a very special plenary and networking event of community, environmental and social inclusion groups in the Ormonde Hotel in Kilkenny celebrating 10 years of Public Participation as Kilkenny PPN.
Celebrating 10 years of Kilkenny PPN would not have been the same without such an amazing turn out. The energy in the room was electric and the connections made were truly spectacular, said Bortha Woudsma, Kilkenny PPN co-ordinator.
A very special thank you to all the participating groups and fantastic line up of presenters for making this such a wonderful plenary and networking event.
Public Participation Networks have been established in each county to give the public eyes, ears and a voice in council matters. Check out www.facebook.com/KilkennyPPN and www.kilkennyppn.ie for more details and how your group can join.
