Kilkenny Girl Guides are celebrating another fantastic year of fun, friendship, and learning as local Kilkenny and Carlow Brownie groups marked Brownies Day 2025 on Saturday, June 7.
Girls aged 7 to 10 took part in a variety of activities this year – from outdoor adventures and community challenges to crafts, games, and teamwork.
The highlight of the day? A visit to Jurassic Park at the Newpark Hotel, where the Brownies explored dino-themed attractions, enjoyed outdoor activities, and made unforgettable memories with friends. Adding to the excitement, the Community Radio Outside Broadcast Unit came out to the event, capturing the energy and voices of the girls as they shared what they love most about being in Brownies — with games and friendships topping the list.
