Last Friday, May 31, Joe Coogan Auctioneer, Castlecomer, sold a 66.5 acre non-residential farm.
The land is situated at Kilbreedy, Rathdowney, County Laois.
Lot 1, circa 34.5 acres, sold for €585,000 to a County Laois farmer.
Lot 2, circa 22.5 acres, sold for €460,000 to a County Laois solicitor acting on behalf of a local farmer.
Lot 3, circa 9.25 acres sold for €150,000 to a County Laois solicitor acting on behalf of a local farmer.
The land averaged at €18,000 per acre. The land is without farm buildings or entitlements and of prime agricultural quality.
