RIP: Kilkenny community remember 'ray of sunshine' after sad passing

The death occurred suddenly of Raymond Lazenby, Love Lane, and formerly of Robinhood, Clondalkin, Dublin. Though his life of just over six decades was cut short nevertheless he will be fondly remembered as a ray of sunshine whose presence lit up many a room.

Multi-talented he was a master of fixing it no matter what appliance was presented to him for repair. A true blue who never forgot his roots he enjoyed the music and his guitar and also had a special grá for all things nature.

Following Requiem Mass celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception by Fr. Richard Scriven P.P. Castlecomer assisted by Deacon Dom Dunleavy, Clondalkin, Archdiocese of Dublin removal was to Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin for Funeral Service. Ray will be sadly missed by  his daughters Aoife and Emily; Catherine; sisters June, Gene and Linda; brothers-in-law Pat and George; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
