There were jubilant scenes at St Kieran's College in Kilkenny City earlier today as a number of students ventured in to celebrate their Leaving Cert results with classmates.
A spokesperson for St Kieran's College issued the following statement to Kilkenny Live: "St Kieran’s College is delighted to see the students reap the fruits of their great commitment and work and this is reflected in the outstanding grades and in the wonderful depth and breath of their achievements."
Amongst the other schools celebrating today was Castlecomer Community School in North Kilkenny, who also spoke to Kilkenny Live.
