"Just over 40% attained more than 450 points in their Leaving Cert. Special congratulations to Taya Korenska who achieved the maximum 625 points in her Leaving Cert.
"Also, a big well done to our Leaving Cert Applied students who did exceptionally well. We expect the great majority of our class to go onto third level degree courses this year.
"Last year, 91% of our Leaving Cert class went on to study third level degree courses and we would expect similar numbers in 2024.
"We know that from our work with past students, an average 85% of our students will go on to study third level degrees, 7% will go on to apprenticeships, 3% will go on to PLC courses with about 5% going to agricultural college or employment."
Principal Murphy added that the school's two guidance counsellors are on hand this week and next week to assist the 6th Year class of 2023 with any further options or queries they might have.
"Well done to everyone and all the very best in your future endeavors," he concluded.
