Kilkenny school 'thrilled' with this year's Leaving Cert results

Kilkenny College have stated that the school is 'very proud of the work and effort that our students put into their Leaving Cert exams'.

"We are extremely proud of every student in Kilkenny College and we are thrilled with their results," Principal Emma Raughter told Kilkenny Live.

"The results tell many happy stories. Of course we are delighted to see so many students achieve over 600 points and some of those students achieving maximum points of 625.

"But the points are merely a currency and a student's CAO points total don't tell the story of the hard work ambition and dreams of those students.

"Our hopes for the students that they will use their Leaving Cert experience to launch them into the next stage of their journey.

"We congratulate each and every student and wish them every success in the future."
