There was a sense of celebration at Coláiste Pobail Osraí, in Kilkenny City, on Wednesday, as the long-awaited Junior Cert results arrived.
Coláiste Pobail Osraí Principal Cathnia Ó Muircheartaigh stated that he was delighted with the results and that the students have done themselves and the school proud.
"It is not just those students who excelled but to all who worked hard and achieved these fantastic results. We are proud of all our students and what they have achieved. Táimid fíor-bhródúil ar fad astu."
He went on to say that Coláiste Pobail Osraí students reached a very important milestone (on Wednesday) as they received their Junior Cycle results. They celebrated their results with their teachers, who are immensely proud of the students’ achievements, both inside and outside of the classroom.
"We wish to acknowledge the dedication of parents, guardians, teachers and all in the school community in supporting their developing skills and talents and congratulate them on their achievements to date. These achievements and experiences will stand to them as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journey. Comhghairdeachas ó chroí leo ar fad agus iad ag tabhairt faoin gcéad chéim eile dá saolta. Maith iad go léir."
