A team of creative fashionistas from Kilkenny's Presentation Secondary School have qualified for the regional finals of this year's Junk Kouture competition!
The regional final will be held in The Helix theatre, in Dublin, on March 6.  The team includes Aine Bambrick (model), Katie O'Keeffe and Jodie Lindsay.
Junk Kouture challenges the next generation of fashion designers, engineers, climate activists, artists and performers to envision, upcycle and create high end couture from recycled junk
The Pres girls' dress is titled "Tangled in Trash" and is made from discarded packaging. They  designed it to raise awareness about improper recycling and highlight the importance of correctly sorting materials into their designated categories.
Everyone at the Presentation Secondary School  wishes all three talented ladies the best of luck in the regional finals.
