CBS Kilkenny bid a very fond farewell to Ms Lucy Ryan, a stalwart of the school on Friday, as she retired after 34 years of service.
"We thank Lucy very sincerely for her enormous contribution and dedication to the school community of CBS Kilkenny," a school spokesperson said.
"We wish Lucy every happiness in the next exciting chapter and we want her to know that she will be sorely missed," they added.
