Works have begun on the construction of a brand new full-size natural grass pitch and full-size synthetic grass pitch at St Kieran's College in Kilkenny City.
The project, which is being carried out by Clearwater Construction, will feature sports fencing, ball stop netting and walking tracks.
"These additions will support a wide range of sporting activities and provide a safe, professional-grade environment for training and competition," a spokesperson for the company said.
