Students from Presentation College Carlow and Presentation Secondary School Kilkenny
#AndSheCycles ambassadors from Presentation College Carlow and Presentation Secondary School Kilkenny took the opportunity to try something completely new on two wheels, heading to their local Castlecomer Discovery Park to experience mountain biking for the first time.
Under the guidance of Aisling from trailbikebody.ie, the girls learned essential bike handling skills and built their confidence as they tackled the off-road trails. The session challenged them to step outside their comfort zones, developing balance, control and teamwork while discovering just how fun mountain biking can be.

Throughout the year, #AndSheCycles ambassadors have been running cycling campaigns in their schools and communities, encouraging more girls to ride and helping to close the gender gap in cycling to school. Ambassadors gain leadership skills, practical knowledge, and tools to run effective campaigns and create lasting change.
