By scoring a goal for Wrexham AFC on Sunday, Kilkenny footballer Tom O'Connor has helped keep the club's spectacular FA Cup run alive.
O'Connor slotted home the second goal for Wrexham in what turned out to be a barnstorming 3-3 draw versus Sheffield United (see highlights below).
The non-League side came within seconds of knocking out a high-flying Championship side three leagues above them.
Wrexham AFC are now the only remaining National League side in the competition and a fourth-round replay is scheduled on February 7.
In 2020, the club hit major headlines following an announcement that it was purchased by Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds and American actor Rob McElhenney, through the RR McReynolds Company LLC.
Following the takeover, a docuseries called Welcome to Wrexham went into production for FX with Boardwalk Pictures.
The series debuted on in 2022 on FX and Hulu in the USA, followed by a release on Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
