Wexford Youths Women FC have announced that star midfielder Ellen Molloy has re-signed for the new season.
The 18 year old has been in unbelievable form since making her Women’s National League debut with the Youths in 2020, scoring 39 goals.
The Kilkenny native had just turned 16 when she received her first called up to the Irish Senior team and has since won 6 caps for the girls in green.
Ellen was named Women’s National League Young Player of the Year in 2020 and was also named in the WNL Team of the Year in 2021 and 2022.
She scored 16 goals in last years campaign before suffering a season ending injury in the title run in. She is currently on the road to recovery and is aiming for a return to action later this year.
