Fundraiser to support local Kilkenny amenity gets underway

Kilmacow Sports Complex

A fundraiser to support the upkeep and maintenance of the Kilmacow Sports Complex is now underway.

The day-to-day running and maintenance costs for the facility extend up to €17,000 per annum. Each year, when finances allow, the committee try to progress some additional improvement works to the facility.

As in previous years, the clubs will meet almost all of the day-to-day running costs of the Sports Complex and, as always, they will be at the fore in volunteering their time towards the upkeep, maintenance and management of the amenity.

Funds raised through this year's GoFundMe will go towards the committee's additional spend and projects.

Donations can be for any amount and can be made anonymously. This year's target is €8,000 and the Community intends for every euro donated to be put to work towards maintaining and improving the Sports Complex.

The Committee would like to acknowledge and thank everyone in the Kilmacow community for all their help and support and the commitment of their volunteers who make this wonderful amenity available for everyone locally.
