O'Donnell's Bar, located in the centre of Inistioge, will close its doors for the final time this evening (Wednesday, September 27) after 60 years in business.
The pub, which has been part of the O'Donnell family since 1963, made the announcement via social media on Tuesday.
"It is with great sadness that we announce our departure," the announcement read.
"Our time has now come to an end and I can't thank everyone enough for all their help, over support, kind words and love given to me over the last year. A special mention to all my phenomenal staff and those who helped behind the scenes."
The statement concluded by saying: "Unfortunately due to measures beyond our control tomorrow Wednesday 27th will be our last day."
