Funeral arrangements for victim of  tragic accident in Kilkenny

Josh Dineen was killed following a tragic car accident on Saturday

The funeral of a 20-year-old man who was killed in a car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning will take place on Thursday.

Josh Dineen from Hugginstown in South Kilkenny was killed following an accident on the N10 in Foulkstown on the outskirts of Kilkenny City.

He is deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents Stephen and Lorraine, brothers Kyle and Jody, grandparents Michael (Dineen), Bob and Agnes (Lanigan), grand auntie Mai, aunts Dee and Jenny, uncles Decky, David and John, relatives and cherished friends.

His funeral will take place on Thursday at The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Hugginstown for Requiem Mass at 3pm. 

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, which took place at approximately 3.25am, to come forward.

Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area at the time are urged to provide it to gardaí.
