Church View is Kilmacow's latest new development comprising of just 13 beautifully designed three bedroom homes

Kilkenny County Council, working in collaboration with Michael Murphy Building Services, and supported by the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage, have launched Affordable Homes at Church View, Kilmacow.

A total of 13 three-bedroom homes will be made available for purchase with support of the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme. The homes will be constructed to the highest modern standards, with excellent quality finishes, fixtures and fittings.

These A rated homes are available for purchase by successful applicants at a price lower than its market value. In return, Kilkenny County Council will take a percentage equity interest in the home equal to the difference between the open market value of the home and the price paid by the buyer. So, if a 20% discount off the market value of the home is secured, the Council will take a 20% equity interest in the property.

This serene and picturesque location offers residents a peaceful village lifestyle, with the added benefit of being just 9.5 kilometres from the vibrant Waterford City.  Perfectly situated for families and professionals alike, Church View strikes the ideal balance between rural tranquillity and urban convenience.

Church View is just a 15-minute drive from Waterford City, making it an attractive option for commuters who want to live outside the hustle and bustle of the city while still having easy access to its array of amenities, businesses, and services.

Application is via Online Portal only. The Online Portal will open for applications on  Wednesday, September 10 at noon.

Further information and criteria is available upon request from DNG Reid & Coppinger or Kilkenny County Council Affordable Housing Team.
