Nowlan Park, Kilkenny
Kilkenny will have the benefit of having three home games in the upcoming Allianz Hurling League after their final round clash with Waterford was switched to UPMC Nowlan Park.
As a result of Walsh Park been out of commission for the course of the Inter-County season, the defending league champions will now have home games against Antrim and Dublin in Fraher Field while an agreement with both the Kilkenny and Waterford County Board's has resulted in a switch to Noreside for the final league clash.
Part of the agreement is that the next two Kilkenny and Waterford league clashes will both take place in the redeveloped Walsh Park.
Ironically the agreement between the two counties is something similar to what Kilkenny and Wexford have proposed to do for their next two Walsh Cup encounters and that is what allowed the Model County host the Cats in last Saturday's floodlight extravaganza.
The changes have ensured that Derek Lyng's Kilkenny side will now have arguably all three of their biggest rivals at home in the upcoming league schedule with Tipperary and Dublin also making the trip to the Marble City in the next few weeks.
The Cats open up their Division 1 league campaign when they travel to Belfast on Saturday week to take on Antrim in Corrigan Park.
