Kilkenny manager Derek Lyng has called on Adrian Mullen and TJ Reid for the first time this season as Kilkenny get set to take on Limerick in Sunday's Allianz Hurling League Final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

Mullen is named to start at centre forward while Reid is among a substitutes bench that also includes Shamrocks clubmates Darragh Corcoran and Paddy Mullen.

In total there are four changes from Kilkenny 's victory over Cork a fortnight ago with Richie Reid, Billy Ryan and Eoin Cody all returning from injury to take their place alongside Mullen in the starting 15.

Corcoran, Alan Murphy, Timmy Clifford and Richie Hogan all miss out with Hogan outside the matchday squad completely.

Fellow Under 20 star Gearoid Dunne is alongside Clifford among the subs with Billy Drennan in from the start as all three players concentrate on senior duty while their underage teammates take on Wexford.

Kilkenny aren't the only ones to have gone full pelt with All-Ireland champions Limerick picking 11 of the team that started last July's All-Ireland Final victory over the same opposition.

As well as that 11, John Kiely has also been able to name Cian Lynch and Peter Casey who missed out on the 2022 decider due to injury.

With both sides going almost full strength, the scene is set for a thrilling league final.

The action gets underway on Easter Sunday at 2pm and the game can be seen live on TG4.
