The Kilkenny Women’s Darts team who retained their Leinster title in Enniscorthy recently
A series of superb performances saw the Kilkenny women’s darts team crowned Leinster champions for the second year in a row.
The Cats, along with two Kilkenny men’s teams, travelled to the Riverside Hotel in Enniscorthy recently to compete in the Leinster Championships. They did the county proud, throwing superb darts to take the title again.
It was a massive achievement for the women who, before last year, had never won the title. The winning team featured Aoife McCormack, Katie O’Dea (Captain), Ciara Carroll, Annmarie Vallely, Ann Byrne, Ann Connolly, Gez Guiguira, Jessie Leahy, Jenny Croke, Tina Grace and manager Maggie O’Dea.
The Kilkenny Darts Association thanked all their supporters and sponsors including Taxback.com, who provided team jerseys.
