Kilkenny boss Derek Lyng has named the same team that was scheduled to face Limerick for tomorrow evening's Allianz League clash with Cork.

It means Eoin Murphy and Tommy Walsh will make their first competitive outing of the season but it's on the bench where there are notable inclusions.

TJ Reid makes a matchday squad for the first time in 2025 which will be huge boost to Kilkenny supporters and he's joined by Fionan Mackessy and Zach Bay Hammond who have both fought off injuries that were picked up in the early rounds.

There is still no sign of the likes of Adrian Mullen, Richie Reid or John Donnelly but the Cats look to be edging closer to what their squad will look like in the summer time and this Division 1 affair on Leeside will be a good marker of where they stand

After losing to Tipperary last weekend, the Rebels will be out to make a point on home soil for a game that is expected to attract a large crowd and all the action can be seen on RTE 2 where there is a 5pm start.
