Tom Mullally
After five years in charge of the Carlow Senior Hurlers, Tom Mullally has announced his resignation from his post with immediate effect.
The Glenmore man won the Joe McDonagh Cup with the Barrowsiders back in 2023 after a thrilling victory over Offaly in Croke Park but arguably his most noteworthy success was grabbing a draw against his native Kilkenny in the Leinster Championship a year later.
Mullally has overseen a huge upturn in Carlow's fortunes and he's bound to be a man in demand after previously guiding Mount Leinster Rangers to an All-Ireland Senior Club Final over a decade ago while he's also led Glenmore and Naas to All-Ireland Junior and Intermediate crowns respectively.

Add in managing Clara to a Kilkenny Senior Hurling title and it's a CV that stands out from the pack so it will be interesting to see what the future holds.
For now though all Mullally's attention will be with Naas as he leads the Kildare champions into a Leinster Semi-Final with St Martin's in Wexford next weekend.
