Kilkenny are through to the Leinster Minor A final after beating Dublin in MW Hire Training Centre, Dunmore last Sunday.
While the teams played each other the previous weekend in the All-Ireland championship, a game Kilkenny won by 10 points, but this match was a much tighter affair.
Leah O’Donovan scored the first point for Kilkenny and for the next 10 minutes both teams tried to score, but both defences stood strong until O’Donovan converted a pointed free for Kilkenny.
Dublin then hit 1-2 without reply over the next eight minutes, the points from Ella Sliney (two frees) and the goal by Kate Keaney.
Heading towards half time, Emma Hogan converted a free over the bar for Kilkenny to leave the interval score Dublin 1-2 Kilkenny 0-3.

The next eleven minutes was a tense affair, with both teams trying to add to their tallies but to no avail until Dublin were awarded a penalty in the 54th minute.
Clodagh Glennon hit it over the bar to equalise the match again.
Substitute Shauna Mahony scored a fine point for Kilkenny after a neat pass from Sadhbh Shefflin, but Glennon equalised again with a pointed free.
