Kilkenny manager, Ann Downey, guided her charges into another national final
Defending champions, Kilkenny, turned in a powerful second half defensive display to charge through to the National Camogie League final in Thurles today.
The Cats went in for the rest two points behind, but they restricted Galway to a mere two points afterwards as they added 10 themselves to book a place in the decider against Cork in two weeks time.
Breeze assisted Kilkenny got into the game early when Danielle Morrissey palmed home a goal in the seventh minutes following an assist by Julianne Malone to jump 1-1 to 0-1 ahead.
However, Galway, powered on by centre-back Rebecca Hennelly and No. 10 Ailish Reilly, who claimed five points during this half, thundered back to draw level by the 17th minute (1-2 to 0-5).
The challengers raced on, points from Niamh Kilkenny and O'Reilly taking them clear and into an interval lead of 0-9 to 1-4.
The Cats caught hold of the game early in the new half, and slowly but surely they strangled the life out of the team they beat in last year's decider.
