The clock is ticking, but there's still time to get running on the Streets of Kilkenny!
Organised by the Kilkenny City Harriers athletics club, the 5K run will take over the Marble City this evening (Thursday).
While online registration has closed, people can still sign up in person to run in the event. Registration will open at 5pm from the Marble City Boxing Club.
The Kilkenny City Harriers Streets of Kilkenny 5K is fast flat course centred around Kilkenny Medieval centre and the banks of the Nore. The run begins on the city's new bridge at 7pm. The entry fee is €15 for adults and €10 for juniors. There will be prizes for senior, junior and masters runners with spot-prizes also on the night.
Following the event, post-race refreshments will be served in the conservatory of Langton’s House Hotel at 8.15pm.
