All-Ireland club hurling: St Patrick's win through to All-Ireland final

Two second half goals from Joseph Brennan and and a third from Eoin Bergin fired St Patrick’s (Ballyragget) into the All-Ireland intermediate club final when they beat Connacht champions, Tooren (Mayo) today in Ennis.
Star attacker, Kevin Kelly, didn't start, but still the Kilkenny champions were good enough to book a place in the Croke Park showdown next month.
Ballyragget used the backing of the elements early to dominate as Michael
Brennan’s ‘65’ got them off the mark. At half-time they led by 0-8 to 0-2.
Tooreen thundered into action in the new half, and three points from frees by Shane Boland had the gap back inside five minutes. But then Bergin charged through for a goal, and things began to drift in St Patrick's direction.
SCORERS: St Patrick's - Joseph Brennan (2-2); Michael
Brennan (0-7, five frees, two 65s); Eoin Bergin (1-1); Brian Phelan, Barry
Staunton, Seoirse Kenny, Bill Staunton (0-1 each). Tooreen - Shane Boland
(0-7, frees); Ciarán Charlton (1-0); Cathal Freeman (0-2).
