Drawn Kilkenny senior quarter-final leads to fixtures changes

The draw in the senior hurling championship quarter-final yesterday between James Stephens and Erin's Own (Castlecomer) has led to a redrawing of the fixtures programme in Kilkenny.
The replay of that drawn senior match will be staged in Ballyragget next Saturday. On Saturday also, the two relegation finals, senior and intermediate, will be played along with one of the intermediate championship semi-finals.
On Sunday the second intermediate semi-final will be played, along with the senior semi-final between Bennettsbridge and Clara.
The following Sunday the second senior semi-final between Ballyhale Shamrocks and James Stephens or Erin's Own will be played in Nowlan Park (3.45pm) after the junior hurling final between Dunnamaggin and Piltown (1.45pm).

The senior and intermediate hurling finals will, most likely, be played on the Bank Holiday weekend, but not together.
Fixtures confirmed this evening by the County Board are - Saturday, SHC quarter-final replay, James Stephens v Erin's Own in Ballyragget 2pm; SHC relegation final, Danesfort v Carrickshock in Callan 2pm; IHC relegation final, Young Irelands (Gowran) v Mooncoin in Ballyhale 2pm; IHC semi-final, Graigue Ballycallan v Tullogher Rosbercon in Nowlan Park 4.15pm.
Sunday - IHC semi-final, St Lachtain's (Freshford) v Tullaroan in Nowlan Park 2pm; SHC semi-final, Bennettsbridge v Clara in Nowlan Park 4pm.
