Action from last year's Leinter final between Kilkenny and Galway
Kilkenny will have two back-to-back weekends off in the restyled Leinster senior hurling championship Round Robin series in 2019.
The Cats will opened with games against Dublin (May 11/12) and Carlow (May 18/19) but they will be free on the weekends of May 25/26 and June 1/2.
Their schedule will resume on June 8/9 with a home game against All-Ireland champions of 2017, Galway, before they complete the preliminaries with a trip to Wexford Park to play Wexford.
The Kilkenny home games at Nowlan Park are against Dublin and Galway and they are away to Carlow and Wexford.
The championship welcomes Joe McDonagh winners, Carlow into the fold. Carlow will replace Offaly in the line and the fixtures will be a reverse of last season.
In a change to the existing format each county will now have two bye weeks during the Round Robin series. This has been implemented as a result of a vote by the participating counties in Leinster.
