It was a mixed weekend for Kilkenny clubs - some crashed out of Cup competitions while others picked up speed in their race for league titles.
Highview Athletic A are top of the pile in the Premier Division thanks to a 2-1 win over Fort Rangers, while Bridge United A kept their focus on Division One honours after a hard-fought 3-2 win over Thomastown United B.
It was a bad weekend for the last two local clubs left standing in the Leinster Junior Cup. Freebooters were beaten 1-0 at home by North End United, while Evergreen went down 2-1 away to Ayrfield United in Dublin.
