Leinster and county champions, Ballyhale Shamrocks will play Clara in the opening round of the 2019 Kilkenny senior hurling league/championship.
The draws for the senior, intermediate and junior league championships were made at Nowlan Park tonight, and the action will begin with first round games on April 7.
Round Two matches will be played on April 21, while Round Three will feature mid-week games on May 21/22.
Rounds Four and Five are scheduled for the weekends of September 1 and 8.
