The streets of Thomastown in County Kilkenny were filled with colour and creativity as the annual wheelbarrow parade rolled through town on St Patrick’s Day.
Embracing this year’s theme, The Wild River, participants decorated their wheelbarrows with imaginative designs, delighting the crowds that had gathered, particularly along Market Street.
The parade, which kicked off at noon, featured live music and a brand-new, bigger, and louder sound system that added to the lively atmosphere in the centre of the town.
