Weather model 'consistent' on the risk of storm hitting Ireland - Kilkenny Live

Prominent local weatherman Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather has been closely following the path of a potential storm that could hit Ireland early next week.

In a post to followers issued earlier today, O'Reilly gave the latest analysis on the approaching weather system.

"The ECMWF model (pictured above) has been consistent on the risk of storm Tuesday/Wednesday and that continues with latest run," he said.

"We haven’t seen a named storm yet this season but this has potential to be named. The first storm name is #StormAntoni but it’s wait and see for now if this will be named."
