Niall Dollard of Kilkenny Weather has revealed that Kilkenny received more than a month's worth of rain over the space of just twenty-four hours.
"Between 6pm Friday and 6pm Saturday, I recorded a total of 60.5mm," he told followers.
"Kilkenny's average for the month of June is 57.1 mm. Over a month's rain in 24 hours."
