Kilkenny weather in June 'full of contrasts', according to local meteorologist

According to statistics from local meteorologist Niall Dollard of Kilkenny Weather, June was 'full of contrasts'.

In a post to followers, Dollard acknowledged that it was the warmest June since continuous records began in Kilkenny and added that June 19 was our wettest June day on record.

The top temperature recorded in Kilkenny in June was 28.1C on June 13 and the coldest was 5C on June 4.
