Severe Weather Warning for Rain for Kilkenny
A severe weather warning has been announced for Kilkenny, with very heavy rain forecast.
Met Eireann has announced an Orange Weather Warning for heavy and persistent rain with thundery downpours possible, to come into effect on Monday morning.
Kilkenny, along with Wexford and Waterford, are under the Orange Weather Warning from 4am on Monday to 4am on Tuesday.
Kilkenny County Council warn of poor visibility, dangerous travel conditions and possible flooding because of the heavy rain.
