The number of Kilkenny schools who will close their doors on Monday, January 6 continues to grow as travelling conditions become increasingly dangerous for drivers and pedestrians.
A weather warning is in place for Kilkenny until 8pm tonight (Sunday) but freezing conditions are expected to last throughout next week with road users asked to avoid making any unnecessary journeys.
